Wire drawing blocks are used in wire drawing machines and are manufactured from 4140 grade steel. After machining, they are hardened through heat treatment to achieve high mechanical strength.

To improve wear resistance, a zone of approximately 60–80 mm from the first wire contact surface is coated with tungsten carbide. The hardness of the heat-treated surface is typically 38–42 HRC, while the tungsten carbide–coated area reaches 58–62 HRC.

The inner structure of the block can optionally be designed with cooling channels to enhance the efficiency of the water cooling system. In addition, coating and painting processes are applied to reduce the risk of corrosion caused by water exposure.

Standard production includes wire drawing blocks with diameters of Ø400, Ø450, Ø560, Ø630, Ø710, Ø760, Ø800, Ø900, and Ø1000 mm, manufactured using the steel casting method. Blocks in different diameters and custom dimensions can also be produced upon request.
