Scale breaking (descaling) units can be manufactured with different numbers of rollers depending on the wire rod diameter. They can be used for wire rods up to 12.00 mm in diameter. The number of rollers can be up to 12 units. For larger diameter wire rods, hydraulically pressed rings are used.

The rollers are bearing-mounted and designed as Tungsten Carbide Rings, positioned between two flanges. The machine body includes an outlet for a dust extraction system, and a wheeled scale collection drawer is manufactured to collect the removed scale.

Protective covers are equipped with rubber seals to ensure dust tightness. To remove fine scale dust remaining on the wire, an adjustable air nozzle is designed at the machine outlet.

Both the wire rod inlet and outlet channels are equipped with wear-resistant Tungsten Carbide guide housings.
